Post procedure care instructions

Day 1-7 (Morning & Evening) Wash eyebrows with Dial Antibacterial “Gold” soap using clean hands and fingers and gently pat dry with a fresh paper towel. Let your brows air dry for about 3-5 minutes before applying the Aquaphor. NOTE- It is very important not to trap any moisture between the tattoo and the ointment. Please refrain from using any oil based ointments such as A&D or Vaseline.Apply ointment as needed throughout the day for a minimum of 7 days , longer if needed. Keeping your brows moist with ointment will control the amount of drying , which will offer aid to color retention.

Be sure to follow these rules while healing:
  • No swimming , saunas or hot tubs for the healing period of your new brows (7-9 days).
  • No hot steamy showers, or long baths for the healing period. When taking a shower keep your face away from the shower head. Before entering the shower or bath, you may apply a thin layer of Aquaphor to protect your brows from moisture.
  • No lasers, skin peels, or products containing Retinol, Glycolic Acid or products or any other AHAs over the non healed or healed eyebrow. These products are considered chemical exfoliants and exfoliate the skin while promoting the rapid turnover of cell. Doing so will cause the pigment to fade before its time.
  • No picking, scratching, or peeling, as this could cause scarring or pigment removal.
  • Do not touch your brows unless you are cleaning them (or patting ) and ALWAYS make sure your hands are clean prior to touching them . Touching your new brows with unclean hands could lead to a secondary infection.
  • No heavy cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris(ex. Yard work, cleaning of garage or basement).
